All you need to certify yourself

It has been quite some years when I started my career in the IT service industry. I have been in IT support and was quite confident that I have got all the skills to manage an IT department. But a few days back, I attended a training on ITIL which stands for Information Technology Infrastructure Library which got me into thinking that being aware of technical things is not all what is needed. Managing the IT department is more than having technical skills.
ITIL seems to be the perfect technique to manage an IT service industry. It not only includes the IT department but includes the whole company. ITIL has been there for quite a while but the latest version of ITIL v3 was developed in 2007. There are 5 books in ITIL v3 which define everything regarding managing the IT service company. I will share all the five book in my next article. We have to implement ITIL framework in our company so I’ll be learning the techniques used in ITIL.
