In part-1 of an IELTS interview, the examiner will ask you general questions about yourself as:

1) Do you work or you study?

2) Where do you live?

3) What kind of room do you like?

4) How are your relations with your family?

5) How you came here?

In part-2, examiner will give you a topic and you will have to speak for 1 ~ 2 minutes on a topic. Then he/she will begin part-3 in which you will be asked questions about what you spoke in a topic in part-2. Please check one sample interview for part2 and part3 as follows:

In the above video, interviewee has made some mistakes and there are a lot of gaps in her talk. There is some repetition as well. The following example shows a good interview where interviewee has spoke with almost no gaps.
